Our rememberance of history only tends to go back so far.  I am age 55.....and my interest in the events of Israel only started 12 years ago....and my knowledge/memory of all the attacks and abuse against Israel only covers those 12 years.

But, here is a good article to help remind us that:

 

Israel has been perpetually under attack since even before it became a nation in 1948!! 

 

Israel is so small...yet it garners the attention of the WHOLE WORLD. 

 

1) The largest number of UN Resolutions have been passed against little Israel.  No other country has been so vilified by this esteemed world body.  (not the sarcasm.....about the UN.....lol...)

 

2) Many many Time Magazine Covers (and other magazines) have featured Israel on it's cover...for one reason or another.....(normally not for good reasons!) 

 

3) And the Bible says in the old testament (I forget the chapter and verse..is it Zachariah?)  "And in those end times, I will make Jerusalem a stone around the neck of the whole world."  

 

TICK TOCK....as Jack Kelly says...."you can almost hear the footsteps of our Lord..."
