Heather,
Refer to 1 Cor chapter 8.  Some people's conscience is weaker than
others.  They believe it is an idol, so it is an idol to them.  Other
people don't have a problem so it is okay.  Basically Paul is saying,
Keep your conscience clear before God, but don't cause your brother to
stumble if his conscience is week.  We have freedom in Christ.
