"Re: Cindi Re: UFO"

Cindi/Jim,
I too saw an UFO.  I was 16 or 17 at the time and I was not a Christian.  At that time in my life, I am ashamed to say that I was intrigued by witchcraft and had read a book that told me to put stars on all of the windows of my home to keep out 'evil spirits', as though what I was doing had something to do with 'angelic spirits'....  Anyway, a friend and I were on our way home in the country one day and I looked over to the left and there it was, hovering just above a field on a side road off of the road we were traveling.  We turned down this road and drove right under where it was.  There was a group of cows standing along the fence line, next to the road and this huge UFO was just hovering above them.  Probably just a little higher than the heighth of a fully mature tree (maple or oak).  It was round and silver with white lights all the way around the outside edge.  It made absolutely no noise at all.  We stopped the car and got out right underneath of it and kept saying over and over, "Oh my gosh...I don't believe that we are seeing this...this is unreal...this is really a UFO...oh my gosh..."  and so on and so forth.  This lasted for probably 5 minutes or less and then suddenly the UFO just flew away slightly up and at an angle very fast.  Still, no noise even as it flew off.  We watched it until it was out of sight.  We didn't tell people because we always thought that they would think we were crazy.
Praise God, I lost my interest in witchcraft and then I came to know the Lord.  Once I became a Christian, I wondered how the UFO fit in.  Then one day, I was dusting my living room and had a Christian program on of two older gentleman answering questions from people who were calling in.  One of the callers asked about UFO's because she had seen one and the gentlemen explained how it was felt that these were demonic.  They warned the caller from having anything to do with satan or witchcraft.  That really hit home with where I was at that time in my life.  I don't think that the men were blaming the caller with being involved in things that she shouldn't, they were just saying to guard yourself by avoiding those things that open you up to demonic forces.
Then just within the past year or so I have heard Bible scholars refer to the nephilim from the book of Enoch.  I just praise the Lord that we are covered by His blood and grace and that He has brought me out from the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock.  Now I wait anxiously on His call.
