"MJ Martin (15 May 2010) "The Midnight Cry""

This is another article that needs to be read because of the soon coming of the Lord.

"The Midnight Cry"

In the parable of the ten virgins, Matthew 25: 1-13, five wise virgins had oil and the foolish virgins had no oil.
The virgins are symbolic of the Church in the last days.

The first wise virgins were ready to hear the midnight cry of the bridegroom and watched and listened for the appointed time to be gathered unto one body in Christ.

The five foolish virgins were left behind. Will they renew their faith in the tribulation? If they could not remain in faith during the dispensation of grace, it is doubtful they would remain in faith during the tribulation.

The word of God is the lamp that contains the anointing oil that lights the way to eternal life. Let not the anointing depart from us by falling away from the faith of God's Word.

Psalms 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet , and a light unto my path."

Psalms 132:17 "I have ordered a lamp for my anointed."

II Cor !:21 "Now He which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us is God."

Isaiah 62:1 "Until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

Beloved, it is by living by the faith of Jesus Christ that we keep the anointing. The oil (Holy Spirit) empowers the Word of God to go forth as brightness. The apostle Paul warns of the falling away from faith...in the last days. II Thess 2:3; I Tim 4:1; II Tim 4:3,4.

Watch and observe as scriptures reveal the appointed time in these last days. Be ready with the faith in God's Word, to hear the midnight cry of the bridegroom. It will be in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. There will be no time to get ready. The bridegroom cometh!

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death. Hebrews 11:5.6

Amen,

John Martin
