First and foremost, I must thank each and every one of you for your stories, thoughts and scripture-based lessons. Your contributions have provided such great comfort to me over the past year, as I am sure they do for many Christians seeking to understand the signifigance of the times in which we are living. Most churches are afraid to teach of the End Times and therefore leave their followers to search for information on thier own. For many years I have lived my life like the Laodiceans, luke warm for Christ, busy with life and children and the many things that make it easy to fall away from dedication to our Father. That is until the spring of 2009 when I had a dream that I believe was a picture of what is to come during the time of tribulation. It terrified me so deeply that it changed my life. I think that this was my wake-up call from God to get myself right with Him again - leading a prayerful life, studying the Bible. Long story short - that is how I found my way to the Doves.I have never felt compelled to post, as I see myself as more of a student, but I had such an interesting connection to the timing of Jim Bramlett's and Bruce Werner's discussion of 2520 day calculation to the Feast of Trumpets 2017.It has been posted by others that often the timing and plans of those on the dark path are presented to the world in pop culture - movies like Knowing and such. I have dedicated my reading time to the Bible and books on different studies of eschatology, but I was drawn to this Stephen King book called The Dome. I read it, though I do not recommend you do the same, as its message was deeply evil. Evangelical Christians are mocked for thier views on being saved and thier ideas about the rapture - they are portrayed as the true evil, committing murder, abusing power and manipulating the people of this small town - all in the name of God. (Mind you that this is a NY Times best seller -- how powerful the AC becomes!!!)But what I found interesting was the date and subject matter of the end of the book. In the end, one of the Christians decides that the town under this dome must be "cleansed" and "purified through fire" and plans to set off a giant explosion. Many of the children in the book dream and prophecy about their soon to come destruction -- all of them warning about a day just a few days before Halloween!Exactly the 2520 day count that Bruce and Jim were discussing in thier recent posts. Eerie to say the least. Let us all pray that we are indeed considered worthy to escape what the future holds!!Yours in Christ,Christina
