We are soon approaching the 40th anniversary of
the time in history, when man first set foot on the moon. This happened on
July 20th 1969. Some people consider this to be mankind’s “greatest
achievement” to date. Here are the words of proclamation by Neil Armstrong:
“One small step for (a) man, one giant leap for Mankind.”
As much as we’ve accomplished on this Earth, I believe there
is something deep inside of our hearts that instinctively tells us, “there is
something bigger, and better out there.” Some argue that space exploration is
a huge waste of money and resources, especially when we have warfare, hunger,
disease and more on our planet. This leaves us at a huge decision point, we can
turn to ourselves or we can attempt to discover “The Big Picture.” It’s a
risk, no doubt about it. For guidance, we do have historical precedence.
During the time of Columbus, many of the physical dynamics about the globe were
debated and unknown. Additionally, there was a vast ocean that offered its own
dangers to wooden ships and men. But, after much debate, risk was chosen.
When the North American continent was discovered it was deemed “The New World,”
and thus the “whole world” would never be the same. Today we live in a “Global
Community” that is rapidly developing. Are we far off from a collective
government, financial system, and more? Clearly, this is no longer a “giant
leap,” but rather a “small step” away for mankind.
Is the answer within ourselves, or outside of ourselves?
That is the question.
Furthermore, would any resource or entity that we might find
be friendly and a great help to our situation, or a detriment? Would this new
situation we are beckoning be our salvation or would it lead to our extinction?
Simple
Centrality
It is beyond the scope of this writing to plunge into a
discussion about all the philosophical arguments regarding the questions I’m
raising above. However, I did want to give some depth, urgency and perspective
to what I am discussing.
Briefly, I will say two things. One, man is not the
ultimate answer. Could the “simple” answer be found in the “middle” of the
Bible? Here is the central verse in the Bible:
Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
If this is true, then who is God
(Lord), what is His nature? What is true or untrue about alien life, etc.
Again, this not the subject I’m delving into, but here is an article I wrote
which I believe may shed some “light” on the subject:

1968
This was an extremely
prophetically significant year. The height of the civil rights movement, which
included, racial, women’s and gay rights was dealt a blow in the form of a
“deadly head wound” to Dr. Martian Luther King. The Vietnam War was going on,
the gold standard was repealed, morality was drastically changing, and so much
more. It was a period of “spiritual revolution.” So much went on that changed
our whole world in this year, that I couldn’t do it justice in this article.
There was a very bright spot at
the end of the year – Apollo 8’s flight.
In 1961 John F. Kennedy had
directed that the United States would send a man to the moon, land there and
return home safely. Many “small steps” had to be taken to achieve this goal.
ON Christmas Eve 1968, Apollo 8
orbited the moon, and was the first to see planet earth as a whole. In a
worldwide broadcast they faithfully proclaimed the Glory of God by reading
Genesis 1:1-10. “In the beginning God…” - Praise God!!!
The very next day, and atheist, Madalyn Murray O'Hair sued and our Christian
faith went the way of the “10 spies” of the Promised Land.
1969
– “The Eagle has landed…”
On May 5th 1969 the
commemorative stamp “In the Beginning God…” featuring a picture of “Earth Rise”
was issued. Also, on May 5th 1969 I was born. I mention this
because I know with all my heart that this is what I was “knit in the womb for”
- my purpose and calling.
On July 20th 1969 man
set foot on the moon, and planted the banner of the United States of America.
He proclaimed:
“One small step for (a) man, one
giant leap for mankind.”
Notice what is present, and
absent from this statement. Man’s glory is present, and God’s Glory is
absent. Officially, Ms. O’Hair’s lawsuit was said to be a “loss.” I beg to
disagree. The whole world is a witness that in what may have been the most
significant achievement of man; He declared his own glory, omitting God. Quite
the opposite from the verse I quoted at the beginning of the article (Psalm
118:8).
Prophetic
Impact
The next question we should be
asking is, “What is the prophetic impact of this monumental event?” God’s
word, is always our best source. Let’s take a look…
God gave Abraham a two-fold
promise –the “sand of the shore” and the “stars of the sky” (Genesis 22:17).
The sand on the shore relates to an earthly promise, while the stars of the
sky, portray the heavenly promise.
Joshua, who had an Old Testament
encounter with Jesus as he approached the Promised Land, is a forthright
model. The first fruits city they were to conquer was Jericho. Jericho means
“moon.” Forty years prior, it was Joshua and Caleb that were the “faithful”
spies. God had Moses lead His people out of Egypt and to the edge of the
Promised Land. Moses then sent spies into the land. Two gave a good report,
while ten gave a bad report. The contrast was “faith” vs. “fear.” Because of
the Israelites “lack of faith” God caused them to wander for 40 years in the
desert.
Like Jericho (“moon”), the moon
is the first fruits of the “heavenly promise” given to Abraham. Similar to the
Israelites, only a small remnant (represented by Apollo 8) was faithful to
proclaim God’s Glory in regards to the moon. As such, we have been “wandering
in the desert,” being bitten and poisoned by “vipers” (demonic influence) for
40 years.
Is it a coincidence that in the
month of July, in the very month of the 40th anniversary of this
event we are discussing, that a lunar eclipse and solar eclipse will occur?
No.
President Obama’s timeline
May 9th 2009 was a
full moon Biblical holiday known as Second Passover. This is a very
significant feast spiritually. You can read about it in your Bible in 2
Chronicles 30. You can read an article I wrote about it at my website www.midnightshout.com called “Second
Passover.”
On this date (but not in
recognition of the feast I’m mentioning) President Obama held the White House
Correspondent’s dinner. At this dinner he made this statement in regards to
his first 100 days is office:
My next 100 days will be so successful, I will complete
them in 72 days. And on the 73rd day, I will rest."
Adding the 172 days would be as follows:

Resulting date: Saturday, July 11,
2009
So, if this statement had any
meaning to it, President Obama would accomplish something and would rest on
Sunday, July 12th.
I would like to propose an
alternative (complimentary – I believe both aspects to be true) interpretation
of this statement. Keep in mind many a “poker” player has not always dealt
from the top of the deck…
If we take the 72 days and apply
it to the May 9th dinner date (think of the spiritual contrast
between 2nd Passover and the White House Correspondence Dinner that
took place), we get the following calculation:

To, but not including : Monday, July 20, 2009
It is 72 days from the start
date to the end date, but not including the end date
Using this method we get the 40th
anniversary that man landed on the moon. The 73rd day would land on
the solar eclipse which is set to take place on July 21st.
Also, of prophetic note is that
the new moon or “dark moon” is on July 21st 2009.
69
– Gospel of the Stars
Sixty-nine (69) is a very, very
significant prophetic number.
Let me start off with some very
interesting information from “Gospel of the Stars” by Joseph A. Seiss. Let me
be clear that Satan invented Astrology as a counterfeit and corrupt system, as
compared to the Gospel of the Stars, which tell the grand story of our
redemption through Jesus Christ. For more fascinating information on this
subject, read the aforementioned book or E.W. Bullinger’s “Witness of the
Stars.”
Psalm
19 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the
work of his hands.
The month of July contains the sign of cancer. “69” is
the symbol of Cancer. We often see it depicted as a crab. In antiquity, the
Egyptians used and treasured the scarab beetle.
So far, none of this sounds too appealing – does it???
The scarab beetle stood for progress from death to
resurrection, darkness to light – or eternal life. In our modern society
“cancer” is the end of life. This is quite the opposite of its original and
intended meaning.
If you read about the lifecycle of the scarab beetle, it
will liken itself very much to the butterfly. The butterfly starts off as a
rather ugly creature; eating lowly things of earth (the scarab eats dung).
During the next phase, a butterfly it makes a cocoon. This is a period of
darkness and transformation. Finally, the cocoon breaks, and the butterfly is
beautiful feeding on the nectar of flowers and such. It seems that “Cancer,”
can mean either death or life, depending on the context – a “fork” in the road
if you will.
The dates for Cancer are:
Tropical duration: June 21st – July 22nd
Sidereal duration: July 14th – August 13th
The difference between sidereal and
tropical astrology is in the opinion whether the system as defined by Ptolemy in the
2nd century should be fixed to the seasons, i.e. the orientation of the Earth relative to the solar
system, or to the background stars, i.e. the orientation of the Earth
relative to the galaxy.
Tropical astrology chooses the former, sidereal astrology the latter option.
Both systems coincide for times close to the historical definition of the
Zodiac, i.e. Classical Antiquity.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon.
Being the fourth sign in the zodiac, Cancer has been associated with the
astrological fourth house. Four (4) is the number for earth.
Cancer is the best noted among stargazers
as the home of Praesepe (Messier 44), an open
cluster also called the Beehive Cluster or the Gate of Men,
which contains the star ε Cancri. Galileo was the first to observe the
Beehive in a telescope, in 1609, and was able to resolve it into 40 stars.

Nine (9) is the last of the digits. 3 X 3 = 9,
whereas 3 + 3 = 6. Six (6) and Nine (9) are “mirror”
reflections of each other signifying “Born Again” or a new creation, renewal.

the number of man + the number of the Triune Godhead = 9.
Genesis 6 is about the “Fall of Mankind” before the flood,
whereas Genesis 9 is a recording of the “Covenant of the Rainbow.” It is also
the blessing of Shem, and the cursing of Canaan.
It was 1969 where man landed on the moon on July 20th.
This year will mark its 40th anniversary.
It is Daniel’s 69 weeks that have been fulfilled before the
70th week begins.
We are in the Jewish year 5769.
It is interesting to note that the gematria (numerical
meaning of Biblical numbers) of 5769 has one scripture which is the Second
Passover verse of King Hezekiah:

2009 has interesting gematria as well. Two words.
The words “follow” and “maketh” have the gematria of 2009.
Follow is used in John 1:40, as in “followers” of Jesus.
“Maketh” is used in Romans 8:26 and refers to the
“intercession” the Holy Spirit makes on our behalf.

exchanged for Satan via man through rebellion)

69 X 3 = 207 (A renewal, blessing 3 sons to fill the
earth, a rebirth)
The 207th verse is Genesis 9:1, notice the 9 on

established, notice the backwards 9-11)

2009
The next date on the calendar I’ll be watching very closely
will be July 13/14th. Why am I looking at this date ahead of July
20th/21st?
Seven (7) days post the lunar eclipse, and 7 days prior to
the solar eclipse is July 14th this year. The “center-point” – post
warning and pre-warning.
July 7th + 7 days = July 14th + 7
days = July 21st
Let’s take a look at the July calendar after the faithful
flight of Apollo 8 (atheist sued for mentioning God) and leading up to Apollo
11, man’s famous landing on the moon.
July 14th 1969 was new or “dark” moon. Remember,
it was a female atheist who sued for the mention of God’s name after the Apollo
8 flight. I believe that the final decision to make no mention of God in
regards to the moon may have been made on July 14th 1969, just
before the launch on July 16th.
My supposal is based on the spiritual meaning in regards to
the planetary alignment of the Sun, earth and moon.
The sun clearly is a model of God. It is the central,
bright, sustainment of life. We cannot exist or live without the sun. Adam,
the first man, was made from the dust of the earth. Thus Adam is a
representation of earth. Eve, the first woman, and bride, was made from his
side. When the moon is full, it surely is “a bride adorned for her husband!”
Here is a picture of this “triangular” (3) relationship:
Just as Paul describes Jesus Christ and the Church, and
declares it the “mystery of marriage,” so is this relationship. When the moon
or “bride” comes between the earth and sun, then the moon is “dark” of which we
call new moon (actually, new moon is the first sliver of hope returning from
this darkness). When the moon is in full “submission” to the earth, then it
become white, full and beautiful!!!
Without knowing the particulars, I suspect that July 14th
1969 was indeed a dark day in a “10 spy” (fear based vs. faith based) type
decision (Buzz Aldrin did take communion on the moon in secret, which I believe
reflects the Church being pushed underground).
Now that we have established July 14th as a
possible “center point,” let’s take a look at some significant day counts.

July 7th was a very significant day
prophetically. It may have been a “warning day.” Here are some happenings this
day, one which was a lunar eclipse:

I relate Michael Jackson’s memorial to this verse in Isaiah
22 which says:
Isaiah
22:16 What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here,
that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a
sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
I have no need to judge Michael Jackson’s relationship with
God, but I do relate this verse prophetically to this event. Surely, there is
no coincidence that the man who was famous for doing the “moon walk” died on
this date leading up to the 40th anniversary of man setting foot on
the moon. Later Isaiah 22 talks about the “Key of David” which is mentioned in
the letter to the Church of Philadelphia who is promised “keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come
upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:10).
This is a reference to the Rapture.
December 21st
2012
I know much of this may be considered unconventional, but
like Pilot’s wife said on the Passion of Christ movie, “…you cannot convince someone
of the truth if they are not willing to hear it…” All the same, God says “come
let us reason together…” so I’ll lay out the facts and let you decide for
yourself.
Many people believe the Mayan calendar more than words from
the Bible – thus my mentioning of the year 2012. However, there are very valid
reasons for looking at this year. December 21, 2012 is Winter Solstice (which
means the earth has its head “raised” in pride towards the sun – see more
specific info on this subject below). It is also a very significant galactic
alignment of the planets, which is why the date is so famous.
There are only two Apollo mission patches with an image of
Apollo (the Greek god) on them. Apollo 13 (13 is the number for rebellion),
which was the famous “Houston we have a problem” and failed to make it to the
moon. The second is the last Apollo mission, and the last humans to set foot
on the moon – Apollo 17. Seventeen (17) is a very spiritually significant
number, which I won’t go into here. Here is a picture of the mission patch:
The Apollo 17 team landed back on earth on December 19th
1972.
Add 40 years to this, and you get December 19th
2012 – 3 days (inclusive) in regards to the infamous December 21nd
2012. Will this be the day “Apollo” returns to earth???

11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of
light.
“Head Bowed”
Here is more information in regards to the planetary
alignment. I am sorry to any wives/women out there who felt slighted when I
gave an overview of the moon being in “submission” to earth. The reality is that
we ALL need to be in submission. Often, the Church has gone too far into
legalism or liberalism in regards to practical application of this concept.
This brings up the question “How can a man be the Bride of Christ?” The answer
is that respectively we all need to be in submission. Jesus is our best
example. Here is my favorite verse on the subject:
Hebrews
5:7 During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up
prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him
from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
If Jesus was heard because of His “reverent submission,”
then certainly this applies all the more to me.
The earth rotates around the sun which makes up our year.
Within the year we have four seasons – spring, summer, winter and fall. There
are four significant seasonal markers throughout the year based on the earth’s
“tilt” in regards to the sun. They are:
Summer Solstice, Winter Solstice, Autumn Equinox and Spring
Equinox
Autumn and Spring are when the Seven (7) feasts of the Lord
take place. This is when the earth is “level” or what I call “face to face”
with the sun. Think of the sun as God’s face and the earth as man’s. Here is

This makes biblical sense since it is believed in a
spiritual way we are to be “face to face” with God.
Winter Solstice is a time I call “head raised.” This is
when the earth or man has an arrogant, non-submissive demeanor towards the sun
(chin up). Here is a picture:
Think of the time period many are anticipating the
anti-christ to appear, be indwelt or fully take charge – December 21st
2012, which is Winter Solstice.
This leaves us with one season marker left – Summer
Solstice. I call this “head bowed.” It is when the earth has the “crown” of
its head lowered submissively in regards to the sun. Here is a picture:
This took place on Father’s Day this year - Amazing!!! This
is exactly the attitude of the heart man should have towards God, our Heavenly
Father. Time for the Prodigal Son to return home – don’t you think???
Bastille Day
(French Revolution)
This day happens to be celebrated on July 14th
and also has tie-ins with May 5th. We can be sure that the
Renaissance, Revolution and Rebellion periods of relative modern history have
all been spiritually significant in nature.
The feast of this day is called: Fête de la

Here are some highlights:

A huge feast and celebration celebrating the
monarchy at the conclusion of the French Revolution.

The feast began as early as 4 a.m. under a
strong rain which would last the whole day.

representatives of 2 for every 100. They were arranged by department under 83
banners. The were brought to the place where the Bastille once stood, and went
through Saint-Antoine, Saint-Denis and Saint-Honor’e streets before crossing
the temporary bridge and arriving at Champ de Mars. Deputies from many
nations, and dwellers in Mesopotamia were representatives of the human race,
with 300 drummers, 1,200 wind musicians, and artillery fireworks to celebrate
festively.

The very popular General marquis de La Fayette, as
both captain of the National Guard of Paris and confident of the king, took his
oath to the Constitution:

The Queen rose and showed the “Dauphin,”
future Louis XVII saying: “This is my son, who, like me, joins in the same
sentiments.” ·
With the permission of the
National Assembly, a delegation of the United States of America, led by John
Paul Jones, founder of the US Navy, joined the feast. ·
The delegation arrived at the
Champ de Mars with its flag, the first instance ever of a US flag flown
outside of the USA, and was cheered by the people. ·
After the end of the official
celebration, the day ended in a huge popular feast. It was also a symbol of
the reunification of the “Three Estates,” after the heated “Estates-General
of 1789” with the Bishop (First Estate) and the King (Second Estate) blessing
the people (Third Estate). I believe this is an “archetype” modeling
of the celebration to take place in heaven. It was the French who helped us
gain our freedom in our own Revolutionary War (we returned the favor in WW
II). This may signify God’s outside intervention in the gaining our initial
freedom, to be followed by the “Saints” fighting alongside Jesus when He
returns to fight the anti-christ (of which Hitler was a definite model, and
he was attempting to exterminate the Jews no less). |

occurred 220 years ago this year (2009 – 1789 = 220). Here is the gematria for
this number:

On July 13th 2003 I was licensed as a Pastor. No
real big fanfare. It was at a small church plant, in a poor area of town, as a
children’s pastor. It was our biggest service mainly because family showed up
(two other men were commissioned as Pastor’s as well). Recently, I’ve figured
out that this was on a full moon. I love that!!! Six years later to the date
will be July 13th this year. I figure it this way. A Hebrew is
someone who belongs to God. I belong to Him. A Hebrew becomes a slave when he
has a debt he cannot repay. This is me for sure – no doubts. 6 years later
here we are. I love the passage where it says:
5And
if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I
will not go out free:
All I can say is “Amen!!! To this Jesus!!!” There is no
freedom in rebellion (13), but in submission (31). I most certainly love my
Master and want to stay with Him and I love my wife and children – let me be
with Him forevermore!!!
Take me to the door Jesus!!!
