"Isaac Newton's Seven Weeks Interpretation and the Mayan End Date Both Pointing Backward to the Same Date - July 11th, 2009?"

Today, I’ve glanced at the digital clock on our stove without really thinking about it, and the first time it read 4:44, the next time 5:55, and just now 11:11.  Isn’t God amazing at how He draws us back to thinking of Him?

There is anticipation in watching July 8th, 2009, as a possible Rapture day.

If the Rapture does occur on this date, then there has been proposed a 3 ½ day interval till possibly the beast is totally revealed on July 11th, 2009.

If the Rapture does not occur on July 8th, then July 11th, 2009 has been proposed as a possible Rapture day, a possible day of destruction, and again, a possible day the beast will be totally revealed.

July 11th, 2009 is arrived at by counting backward from the Mayan end date, December 21, 2012, the total of 1260 days.

It has also been noted that adding 3 ½ days to December 21, 2012 brings one to Christmas eve/Christmas as a hint to the giving of presents after the two witnesses are killed.

(Revelation of John 11:10) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Switch gears.

(Daniel 9:25) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times

Sir Isaac Newton has been credited with proposing that it does violence to the text to not consider the first seven weeks as referring to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

It has been proposed that this commandment implicitly was when Jerusalem was reunited with Israel on June 7, 1967.  Some have noted there could be considered a more explicit commandment I believe a few weeks after this event, although the exact date and documentation regarding this currently has escaped me.

Regardless, there are three ways proposed to count these seven weeks from June 7, 1967.  And from this count forward, one can count backward 2520 days for the possible Rapture, Sudden Destruction, and/or revealing of the beast of Revelation to the World.

The first, and the shortest in time and therefore the first to watch, is to count 49 360-day “prophetic” years in the manner of Sir Robert Anderson.  This takes us to Yom Kippur, September 23, 2015.  2520 days before this took us to October 29, 2008.

The second is to count 49 solar or Gregorian years, which for most practical purposes are the same.  This takes us to June 7, 2016.  2520 days before this takes us to July 14, 2009.

The last is to count 49 Hebrew years.  This takes us from Iyyar 28, 5727 to Iyyar 28, 5776, which is June 5, 2016.  2520 days before this takes us to July 12, 2009.

Note that 49 years counting inclusively from Iyyar 28, 5727, end 49 years on Iyyar 27, 5776 or June 4, 2016.  The next day is actually the first day of the next year.  2520 days before this takes us to July 11, 2009, 7//11, the same date arrived at as 1260 days before the Mayan 12/21/2012.
