A Moment to Consider - July 30, 2009

One day a young lady was driving along with her father. They came upon a storm. She asked her father what she
should do.

He replied, "Keep driving!"
As they continued on their trip other drivers began to pull over
to the side of the road as the storm worsened.
"What should I do now, father," the young lady asked.

"Keep driving," her father responded.
As the storm hammered on them they noticed eighteen
wheelers were also pulling over.
"Dad,"  she said, "I must pull over since I can barely see
ahead. It is terrible out and everyone is pulling over."

Her father told her not to give up, "Just keep driving."

Now the storm was terrible but she never stopped driving and
soon she could see a little clearer. After several more miles
the roads were dry and the sun was out.
Her father said, "Now, pull over and get out."

"Why?" she responded.

"All the people that gave up are still in the storm. You never
gave up and now your storm is over."

Many of you are riding in a storm now and many have given
up.  Please don't!  Your Father is with you to encourage you
and He knows that if you persevere that there are sunny days
and clear roads ahead of you.
