Pastor Riley, your Daily Update yesterday (like every day) was very interesting. One thing took my attention because I just was searching information some days ago from Moshiach Ben Josef and Moshiach Ben David, because I know that at least some jews are expecting both of them to come. Moshiach Ben Josef''s figure is not so 'jewish' because Josef (Efraim) is still 'disappeared' amongst the nations. I have this thought that jews could accept someone just fitting to prophecies even he is not from Israel. It is said about Moshiach Ben Josef (Geulah perspective):
Recognizing Moshiach
In Bilaam's brachos of the Jewish people, he relays a message that was intended just for us, sitting on the threshold of the end of days. He can arrive like a star, in a miraculous manner, or like a regular ruler, rising naturally. He explains further that this depends on the state of the Jewish people. If they are meritorious, and the redemption comes in the time of אחישנה - the hastened time - then Moshiach will be like a star. Otherwise, Moshiach will come in a natural manner, in the time of בעתה, or the preordained time. This second choice is what Zechariah describes when he talks of Moshiach coming עני ורוכב על חמור - a pauper riding in on a donkey.

This nearly three minute commercial is entitled “The First Interview with Maitreya.” The producers of the video are promoting “Maitreya,” who is expected to appear on the world scene momentarily. They report that his “star” has already appeared in the heavens in several places around the world. For those of our readers who are not familiar with the term, Maitreya, this word is the title or name of the coming “messiah” of those involved in the occult and New Age movements.
