Let's just say that the 'rapture of the Church' happens on the 'Feast of Trumpets' September 18-19, 2009 just as many of us expect it to. After that event occurs, all 'converts to Christ' will be 'tribulation saints'. The newly converted Christians will know that  'The Church' was previously raptured to Heaven on  'Feast of Trumpets', and as a precedent they will also be looking to be 'saved'. They would naturally also expect to be 'saved' on a future 'Feast of Trumpets', but this Scripture may be speaking of a 'Pentecost Season' which is four months earlier than Feast of Trumpets.
 
John 4:35
"Do you not say, FOUR MONTHS MORE AND THEN THE HARVEST? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
 
This Scripture may be speaking of a 'harvest of tribulation saints' in some future 'Pentecost Season' four months prior to the Feast of Trumpets' that year. If the seven-year tribulation runs from 'Feast of Trumpets' to 'Feast of Trumpets', it may be 'cut short' or 'shortened' by four months lest no one survive.
