"re: Dave Anderson, Just when you think..."

Hey Dave,

take heart. These guys who seek to talk you out of the blessed hope were predicted by Paul and his word to you is to let no man deceive you etc. That day cannot come except there come the removing (thanks Jim Bramlett) first and then the man of sin be revealed etc.. There will indeed be a rapture (represented by the two loaves, the first two loaves of a season's harvest) BEFORE the tribulation begins. Nevertheless, there will also be many who do not enter because of unbelief and horrible teaching like this. If I could find it easily, I'd refer you to a post I did on this once on the Doves, but rather, I'll tell you the main points: I once asked God (back around 1996) if He wanted me to move to the mountains like a lot of Christians I was aware of, and store food and supplies. He told me that His answer to me was Psalm 11. I had no special knowledge of this Psalm at that time and could hardly wait to get my Bible out and see what it said. (This was not the first time that God directed me to a particular scripture in answer to a problem or question, but always the results have been dramatic for me.) My answer has been Psalm 11 ever since to the question of "preparing" for the tribulation. Actually, I do have all things I need stored up for the hard times, but they are in heaven, right where Jesus said to store them, not on earth where moth, rust and thieves corrupt and steal. Jesus doesn't change, ya know... My heart is where my treasure is and it is safe and I'm going there not storing and hunkering down here, thank you. Don't listen to men, ask God what He'd have you do. If you do here's what He gave me:
Psa 11:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Psa 11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
Psa 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Psa 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psa 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
Psa 11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

This Psalm tells me not to go to their mountain but rather to trust that God will indeed take me to where Jesus is that where He is there I may be also. It tells me that God will punish the wicked and that while He is doing so I will be with Him and will be beheld by His continence and that He is in His holy temple and on His throne in heaven. Well, that's where I'll be too. Any, who want to store up on earth and stay here to see the trib, are sure free to do so but brother, count me out of that one! Bye bye, now...

I once had a very powerful dream of the rapture and one of the most awesome aspects of it was that in spite of the tremendous force and speed with which I was being propelled up into the sky, I was acutely aware that from this moment on, earth was to experience horrible times for awhile. And that this was no time to be here especially for Christians. I therefore was overcome with a sense of wanting to get as far away as fast as possible from earth and I was concerned that the mode of travel that was being employed for my escape was going to keep working long enough to make a clean getaway. I was actually asking my accompanying angel, "does this thing go any faster?" even though we were flying at an incredibly fast speed. (By this thing, I do not mean to imply that I was in any sort of vehicle, for as far as I could tell, I was just flying sort of like Superman, with arms out in front and like a rocket. But the point is that I wanted to get away as fast as possible and as sure as possible.) I also wanted to know that it couldn't run out of "gas" and fall back to earth. I knew that below was such evil as was not to be desired on anyone... This was no "end of the trib rapture" but one that occurs when you see these things BEGIN to come to pass... Stand and lift your head, your redemption draws nigh!

Hold fast your confidence!
