"Michael Jackson, Jesus, and Me @ PurposeDriven.com"
Cool story. I heard once that David Pack
lost his hearing or something and he was a gifted producer of other
artists making it so much the more painful for him. Anyway, I once
chanced to meet Rod Templeton or whatever his name is who wrote
Thriller and other songs for Michael Jackson. It was outside a
convenience store in LA. I was with a group from church after a
Christian concert in the Shrine Auditorium and this limo pulls up and a
large black man gets out having a backstage pass on his lapel that says
"The Jacksons access all areas". We asked him about it and he told us
that he was attending a party for Michael and that he writes for him.
We told him that Jesus loves Michael and he agreed and said that he was
a Christian himself and that he witnesses to Michael. It was really
cool.
This may have been 1984-5.
