"Shanthini / my blogspot about the Shroud of Turin"
The atheists push the Da Vinci theory, but it is
not plausible. The Shroud's history can be traced to AT LEAST 100
years before Da Vinci's birth.
I have studied the Shroud
since the 1980's and have a blogspot that I invite you to visit:
http://amazingshroud.blogspot.com/ The more I study this
amazing relic, the more convinced I am that its complexities are far
beyond human engineering.
I saw that video about the Da
Vinci, but it is not even close to the truth. It compares the
Shroud face to Da Vinci's. What you REALLY should study is the
painting entitled "Christ the Pantocrator" that has been in an Egyptian
monastery (St. Catherine's) since the first century. They are
many REMARKABLE points of congruence between the Shroud and this
painting. Many art historians believe that the painter of the
"Pantocrator" must certainly have used the Shroud for his reference.
The
best and most accurate video that I have ever seen on the Shroud is
"Unwrapping the Shroud" that was presented last year by the Discovery
Channel. However, they only ran it a few times and will not
answer my requests to make it available for public purchase. That is
not surprising. Most of the atheist that run the Discovery
Channel WANT you to believe the Da Vinci story. It makes them
quite uncomfortable to consider the possibility that the Gospel is
true, and that Jesus of Nazareth left us physical evidence of His
resurrection.
I am not wanting to argue these points on FIVE
DOVES, and John certainly wouldn't want that either. If you want
to discuss any information on the Shroud, please comment on my
blogspot.
Most importantly, I don't really care if you
believe the Shroud is authentic. The main point is that you
believe that Jesus of Nazareth is risen as He said!
