MRI & other stuff....my experience

Okay so friends ~ here’s what happened to me yesterday….

I was ANXIOUS to get an MRI (on leg that’s still bothering me) ~ and one good friend being keen & observant, noticed that I **MUST** (haha!) be “hurting” in order to agree to this!! {I avoid traditional medicine at most all costs… as it’s been my own personal experience that it’s actually CAUSED most of MY health problems….} Anyway, ~ Big smile… my friend was right….. I WAS in pain ~ I was looking to get healed…..

Okay, so anyway, just the other day at the health food store – had 2 clerks (who are well versed in naturalpath studies!) refer me to a leading naturalpath Dr. in town – in fact, he offices pretty dadgum close to us!! The one lady I talk w/over there – I know she’s a Christian; we’ve talked about that….. so I had just ASSUMED the guy they were referring me to was also!!

W-R-O-N-G!!!

This is SO sad – but an analogy of the way the world is today!!!

Before stepping foot into the office there, I talked to his assistant on the phone at great length – she seemed to be just about “THEE most pleasant person I’ve ever spoken with in my life”!! In fact, I mentioned that to my husband (he was working from home, so he could go with me on appts.)

Anyway, I walked into the ND’s office a bit later to get the paperwork for a “future” appt ~ and the assistant came into meet me – dressed in a BLACK dress… first hint…. BLACK tipped professional stuck-on fingernails….. Hmm…. Didn’t even think too much of that….. at first…. [although in the back of my head: is this the style that “Christians” wear these days??….]

But it was WHILE we were chatting ~ then ooops, looked up & noticed a “Buddha” statue behind her in the china display cabinet. Uh-Oh!!! And a candle burning & incense sitting there…..

And ….. well, I’m a “little slow” sometimes!!

Unfortunately, a LOT of “new age” people are into natural healing!! And there’s no doubt in my mind this “SUPER NICE/PLEASANT” lady ~ is a practicing wiccan!! {There I am ~ being so ignorant & naïve ~ but later, I even looked up info about the black tipped fingernails online – so I could confirm my suspicions!!} Folks, most of you would not fall over ….. but this is ahem, “BIBLE BELT AMERICA” we’re talking about!!……

Anyway ~ NO WONDER there was “absolute silence” on the phone when I mentioned the “other” ND in town who I’ve gone to for the past 10-15 years!! He’s a CHRISTIAN!! ~ a REAL one!! With Scripture in HIS office!! (not Buddha statues!)

Soooo anyway – I told this gal I’d see her in August for my appt. (walking out ~ thought….. “ha!! FAT CHANCE!!! I’m not even going to still BE HERE in August!!” And even if I was….. I told my husband that I’m not about to let any loony wicca-loving Buddha-embracing nutty naturalpath Dr. get his hands on me!!!! That I would prefer to remain in pain than to go down the wrong path…..

Soooo anyway, after several calls back & forth to my other doctor’s office….. I finally had an MRI appt. this afternoon….. well here’s how that worked out: got there, and while filling out the paperwork, my right eye nearly went blind!! Seriously!! It kept stinging & tearing & I practically could not see AT ALL….

Kept taking glasses off, and blinking my eyes, trying to regain sight…..

Well, finally got to the last page of the form – wondering if you have any “metal” in you anywhere & what kinds of things are you allergic to & how they’re going to try to talk you into accepting the IV solution of “contrast dye” so they can have an even deeper look – at that point, I could hardly even breathe….. much less see!!

So I got up, walked over to the desk & said, “I’m NOT going to do this!! I’ll call you back later & tell you why….” The clerk was somewhat stunned ~ apparently this does not happen often… .ha!

And then, I WALKED OUTTA’ THERE!!!!

One of my email buds once told me that my “stubbornness” has probably saved my life more than once!! And then she giggles….

But chalk this experience up to another one of those times!! I hardly knew what to even say to my husband as we drove away ~ he’d been so kind to give up time to take me around to these places. But do you know, within a couple blocks – my sight was restored!! Seriously!! TOTALLY!! No more blinking away trying to regain it….

I don’t know WHAT was in that place!! ~ but whatever it was, I wasn’t supposed to be in there!!

I took the form and all my personal info with me ~ and no, I never did call back to “splain”!!

GOD WILL HEAL ME!!!! Is there anything too big for the Lord??!!!

Meanwhile, I got quite an “education” today!!! This world’s in bad shape. Beware when practicing wiccans are in the healing business. AVOID that path; stay on God’s side!! He is STILL in the healing business!! AMEN!!
