Isaiah 26:3:  "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee"

 

I look for "interpretations" of acronyms and short phrases to help stay my mind on God and Christ. Then I try to find a Bible verse that relates to my "interpretation".

 

For example, we all love to be given a free "Gift Card".

Putting my mind to work on this phrase for a few minutes, letting the letters suggest a word, I came up with:

I... Is

T...Today

 

I recently saw a video by Retha McPherson in which she says we need to put God first in our lives.

 Isaiah 48:12 : "I am he; I am the first"

 

C...Christ

A...Always

R...Rewards

D...Devotion

 

Ruth 2:12: "A full reward be given thee of the Lord"
