"FOR THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNTIL" 2 Thessalonians 2:3

 

Dear Doves,

 

Scripture tells us there are TWO REQUIREMENTS that MUST BE FULFILLED BEFORE the 'day of rapture' can come.

 

2 Thessalonians 2:1

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and OUR BEING GATHERED TO HIM" (our being gathered to Him is the rapture)

 

2 Thessalonians 2:3

"Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, FOR THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNTIL (1) THE REBELLION OCCURS AND (2) THE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS IS REVEALED"

 

I believe the 'rebellion' referred to here in Scripture is 'a defining moment in history' when Israel, WHO REJECTED JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE CAME IN HIS FATHER'S NAME, accepts and enters into an UN-HOLY ALLIANCE which is the seven-year 'peace covenant' with many offered to Israel by the 'man of lawlessness', WHO COMES IN HIS OWN NAME.

 

John 5:43

"I have come IN MY FATHER'S NAME, and you do NOT accept me; but if someone else comes IN HIS OWN NAME, you WILL accept him."

 

This 'act of rebellion' against God by Israel will 'reveal the identity' of the 'man of lawlessness', and thereby FULFILL THE TWO REQUIREMENTS which will allow the 'day of rapture to come'.

 

Israel's acceptance of the FALSE 'peace message' from the 'man of lawlessness' after rejecting the TRUE peace message from Jesus Christ is the ULTIMATE REBELLION AGAINST GOD! This ultimate 'act of rebellion against God' by Israel is so REVOLTING TO GOD that it is exactly what causes the 'Seventieth Week of Daniel' to begin. It won't be long now.
