As we near the Rapture I believe we are closing the time of the Church of Philadelphia and entering into Laodicea .    Don't get me wrong, Laodicea is already here as well, but the full transition is soon to take place.

 

The founding of the United States as a Christian country designed to spread the gospel and be a light to the nations is no accident.  That its founding fathers had their beliefs and government based on Jesus Christ shows it's intended purpose by God.  You will have a hard time finding it much anymore in history books as the founding father's references to Jesus Christ have been taken out. 

 

It is by Divine Providence that Philadelphia became the capital and major city in this new country, the United States of America .  Consider these things regarding the city:

 

It is known as the City of Brotherly Love (also The Birthplace of America and Quaker City ), city motto Let brotherly love continue

 

Philadelphia was founded in October 27th 1682 and incorporated October 25th 1701
Philadelphia is the 6th most populous city in the United States (6 being the number for man)
In the 18th century it was the first capital and most populous city in the United States .  It gave rise to the American Revolution.

 

William Penn founded Philadelphia and felt he had been under religious persecution.  He founded Philadelphia on Religious freedom and has quite a testimony.
