Re: The Bride the Lamb's Wife
I am a daily reader of the Five Doves; but very seldom do I respond to the articles I read. However; I love to read Rene's articles, and I agree with her that the Bride of Christ will not be divided. All the church will be raptured; although many who have not been faithful will loose their rewards in heaven. This is stated very clearly in the Bible.
I have three questions for Karen:
1. What exactly is the dividing line between those who are chosen and those left behind? Please do not use a general answer such as those who are desiring Christ's return. I want to know specifics. There is a crown promised to those who are looking for Christ's return, but nowhere does it say that they are the only ones who will be raptured as the Bride of Christ..
2. What happens to those who have already died that were saved but not living as close as they should when they died? Will they be raised from the dead to have to go through the Tribulation Period? Where is that in the Bible?
3. The best argument would be the five unwise virgins, but I believe that was meant for the Jews not Gentiles. Jesus spoke to the Jews in parables they were not meant for the Gentiles.
So far, no one has convinced me that the church will be split. I have read the articles with an open mind, but still cannot see the Bible saying that only a chosen few will be raptured. That would be depending on works.
While I am writing I would like to say "Thank You" John for all your work in maintaining this website. It is the highlight of my day. I feel like part of the Five Doves Family. I know there are many others who feel the same way.
Again, Thank You!!
