You could always try gardening work (if marketing is not your thing) – it’s always blessed by the Lord and you get to develop a new sensitivity to the Spirit’s direction and provision. Well, that’s what I did after packing up programming in London :) - but it’s not for everyone.

The sense that it is pointless making big plans for the future is something I have felt for a few years now but that may just be the Lord’s current direction for my life and not be related to the rapture (if it is pre trib, which I doubt).

I think a lot of true Christians are concentrating on keeping their lamps filled with oil, as it were, in these days – Light from the Lord is very important now while the world merrily makes great plans that shall end up being burnt.

Prayer, prophecy – these are watchwords now more than ever I feel.
