Last evening (June 30) as my husband and I were traveling home from the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming (heading east), we saw the most spectacual sight!! The moon on the eastern horizon was "Blood Red"!!!  I don't know what kind of atmospheric conditions would cause such a sight, but my husband thought it was caused by smoke in the atmosphere from fires that are burning in various places.  Did anyone else this phenomina and could it be a sign of things to come?  it was incredibly amazing!!!
