Hi:Crowns show us when that person comes to power.> > Rev 12: The devil has 7 heads 10 horns and 7 crownsRev. 12:3 shows that the time in view is Mid-Trib, because the 7th head, the False Prophet, has been crowned. The 7 kings are the heads of the 7 empires: Babel, Babylon II, Media-Persia, Greece, Imperial Rome, Ecclesiastical Rome, and Babylon III.In Rev. 12, verse 6 speaks about Mid-Trib. It says, "And the woman (the remnant of Israel that "have the testimony of Jesus Christ," v. 17) fled into the wilderness (i.e., Petra), where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." Satan and his angels are cast out of Heaven Mid-Trib. From that point on, the 7th head, the Satan-possessed False Prophet rules during the Great Tribulation.> > Rev 13: The beast has 7 heads 10 horns and 10 crownsRev. 13:1 represents the beginning of the Tribulation, when the 10 horns are crowned. It says, "I...saw a beast rise up out of the sea (nations and people, Rev. 17:15), having seven heads and ten horns, and UPON HIS HORNS TEN CROWNS, and upon his heads (all 7, starting with Nimrod, king of Babel) the name of blasphemy" (i.e., Pontifex Maximus). All the heads are not said to be crowned in Rev. 13:1, because the 6th head is in power at the beginning of the Tribulation, not the 7th head, the False Prophet who is crowned Mid-Trib. Rev. 13:3-10 tells us about the 6th head. Verses 11-18 tell us about the 7th head.> > Rev 17: 3 The beast the Prostitute rides on has 7 heads and 10 horns and
no crowns are mentioned. That is because the time is when the Rapture has just taken place. The Tribulation is still future. Rev. 17:10-14 says, "And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is (at the beginning of the Tribulation), and the other (the False Prophet, the 7th head) is not yet come; and when he cometh (Mid-Trib), he must continue a short space (i.e., the shortened Great Tribulation). And the beast (Satan) that was (in Judas Iscariot, the 1st son of perdition, John 17:12), and is not (in man now), even he is the eighth (the Satan-possessed False Prophet), and is of the seven (Satan influences all 7 of the heads of state), and goeth into perdition (i.e., indwells the False Prophet, the 2nd son of perdition, 2 Thess. 2:3). And THE TEN HORNS WHICH THOU SAWEST ARE TEN KINGS (not crowned until the beginning of the Tribulation), WHICH HAVE RECEIVED NO KINGDOM AS YET (i.e., at the time of the Rapture); but receive power as kings one ! hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM (i.e., at the time of the Rapture) are called, and chosen, and faithful."Rev. 17:10 indicates that at the time of the Rapture (when the saints are with Christ, v. 14), five of these kings have fallen (Babel, Babylon II, Media-Persia, Greece, and Imperial Rome), one is in power (the Pontifex Maximus of Ecclesiastical Rome), and one (the False Prophet, the Satan-possessed king of Babylon III) is still to come. > > Dan 7: Does leopard = Greece, Bear = Persia (Iran) and Lion = Babylon
(Iraq) Yes. In order of mention, the Lion = Babylon II (king Nebuchadnezzar ruled at Babylon, which is now Iraq), the bear = Media-Persia, the leopard = Greece, and the 4th beast = Imperial Rome/ Ecclesiastical Rome. The 4th beast is "diverse from all the beasts that were before it (after Imperial Rome fell, Ecclesiastical Rome took over), and it (Ecclesiastical Rome) has ten horns" (Dan. 7:7). Let's study the 10 horns/kings.1. These 10 kings are crowned at the beginning of the Tribulation. Rev. 13:1 says, "upon his horns ten CROWNS."2. These 10 kings have no kingdom yet at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture (Rev. 17:12,13 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, WHICH HAVE RECEIVED NO KINGDOM AS YET (i.e., at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture); but receive power as kings one hour with the beast (the .These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.> > Beast has 10 horns - no mention of heads or crowns, but it comes up as
an uncounted horn and uproots three horns (10+1-3=8)The 10 horns are crowned at the beginning of the Tribulation, Rev. 13:1.> > The horns and heads are explained, but what do the crowns represent?
The crowns show us when the person or persons represented take office.> > Rev 12: The devil has 7 heads 10 horns and 7 crownsThis means that the time referred to is Mid-Trib, when the False Prophet, the 7th head of the great red dragon, is crowned.
> > Rev 13: The beast has 7 heads 10 horns and 10 crownsThis shows that the 10 kings are crowned at the beginning of the Tribulation, when the first beast of Rev. 13 comes to power.
> > Rev 17: 3 The beast the Prostitute rides on has 7 heads and 10 horns and
no crowns are mentioned. The time represented in Rev. 17 is right after the Rapture takes place. Verse 14 says, ""they that ARE WITH HIM (Christ) ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL." There is a gap between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation. At this time, the ten kings "HAVE RECEIVED NO KINGDOM AS YET (i.e., they are not yet crowned); but receive power as kings one hour with the beast" (the 1st beast of Rev. 13).At the time of the Rapture, the sixth and 7th heads are not yet crowned. The 10 kings are not yet crowned. The sixth head and the 10 kings will be crowned as the Tribulation begins. The 7th head, the False Prophet, will be crowned Mid-Trib.Agape,Marilyn Agee
