My son is like the person described in the post which quotes Job.  He
does not accept God, period.  He does not believe God could exist.  He
believes only in Evolution.

He was raised by his grandparents, in part, while I had to work.  When
I remarried when he was seven, my new husband and I were Unitarians and
New Agers.  He was not given a Christian rearing.  He was sent to an
Ivy League School and became a scientist.

He holds me in contempt because I am a Christian, and sends me
ridiculing e-mails often.  Jesus predicted this, except for the e-mail
part.  But it hurts when the one who was your little child becomes this
way.   No amount of it fulfilling prophecy makes it bearable.

I have no hope for him except a miracle.

Pray that God will convert my whole house.
