Every once in while I enjoy watching an "old" football game on ESPN Classic. I happened to catch on a Christian TV station an old Billy Graham crusade from 1959 in Melbourne, Australia. A couple of points:
 
1. He started talking about heavenly creatures, that there would be various other creatures in heaven, then he mentioned that he believed that there is life on other planets in the universe and that the Bible had hints to that in various verses which he did not mention. Does anybody know what verses he have been thinking of?
 
2. He spoke about the return of Jesus and expected Him at any time..then he made the comment, "even if He doesn't return for another 50 years.."  1959 + 50  = 2009. I only mention that because sometimes an off the cuff comment will be prophetic. If his comment was prophetic then time is indeed short.
 
3. He spoke about keeping occupied while we wait for the return of Jesus. It is not pleasing to Jesus to quit what we are doing and just wait for Him to return, we are to be "occupied" with His work.
