Dear Doves,

 

Most of us are familiar with the passage in John’s gospel where Lazarus had died.  His sister Martha approaches the Lord, who arrived four days after Lazarus’ death, and carries on a precious conversation with Him.  Some in the crowd believed Jesus had arrived just a tad too late!  Even so, Martha’s faith is exhibited when she says, in John 11, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”  I love how Jesus replies: “Your brother will rise again…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
