"Female, Harvard Ph.D., evangelical
minister"
Dear friends:
This morning at church I heard a brilliant guest speaker, who is a
female, doctor, scholar, and Christian minister.
Christina M. H. Powell received her Ph.D. from Harvard University. While
working on her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Penn State
University, she was appointed by the governor of Pennsylvania to serve on
the university’s board of trustees. She currently holds a joint
appointment as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School and
Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Powell is also a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. She
ministers in local churches, on secular university campuses, in chapel
services and classrooms at Christian colleges and as a conference
speaker.
She spoke today on the issues of stem cell research, cloning, and
abortion, with solid biblical perspectives on each. Her text was
Psalm 139:13-16 and how when we were just one-cell creatures, in God's
"book" was the blueprint of our whole life (v. 16)! It
brought me to tears. Oh, how great is our loving God!
The lady has a real anointing.

If your church or group is looking for a great guest speaker, I
highly recommend her.
The only way I know to contact her is through the Women's Ministries,
