"Here is a word for somebody"

Dear friends:

I have a word for somebody, maybe many.

The Lord gave it to me yesterday.  It was a loving rhema word from God's logos word, the Bible.  I have read it in the logos before, but it became a rhema when it jumped out at me, like it was emblazoned in neon lights.  It was for my spirit, yesterday. The Lord showed me that it was also for others.  May it jump into your spirit today and give you the same revelation and blessing.

It is from Psalm 35:27:
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (KJV).

The NKJV says:
Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
The often-attacked word "prosperity" here in Hebrew is shalom, found as God's will for us throughout the Bible.  But do you know what all shalom means?  It is often translated as just "peace."  However, the Strong's Enhanced Lexicon says it means several things, each of which is God's will for you.  This includes:

Completeness
welfare
peace
safety
soundness (in body)
health
prosperity

Giving us His shalom (and all that it means) actually provides God pleasure!  Incredible!  One reason may be that we receive those provisions by faith, and we know from Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is not possible to please Him (give Him delight).

Can you receive God's will and shalom for yourself today?  Believe it, continually confess it, and act like it is true.  It will be manifested.  It has to be true.  God spoke it.

The devil will come and try to steal it from you, sometimes through well-meaning friends who do not know any better.  They may say, "That can't be true," or "That is not true for today," and give you a lot of reasons.  Indeed, it may not be true for them because of unbelief, but it can be true for you.  Jesus said that all things are possible to those who believe.

If God said it, I believe it.  And you can too.  It is God's promise for all who will believe.

That is why it also says to "SHOUT and be glad"  It is worth shouting and being glad about!!!  I am shouting!  Stick your head out the window and you may hear me!

But let us remember it also days, “Let the Lord be magnified."  Let us do that continually.

God bless you,

Jim
