"RE: Rene The Body of Christ"

Thank you so much for this article.  Excellent!

This thought came to my mind while musing on the 5 wise/5 foolish virgins one day awhile back. I could never reconcile the premise of any Blood Bought believer being left behind for the reason that some of us would not be "ready" ......as this negates the Finished Work on the cross.

So this thought seem to confirm my thinking on this as well.  In Math 25, we see a discussion going on between the 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins.  After being told the bridegroom is coming, they all arise and trim their lamps,  the foolish ask the wise for some oil.  The wise say no, go to those who sell and buy. So the foolish take off to buy and while they are gone, the bridegroom comes.

In 1 Cor 15:52 it says:
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

If we are changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, how will anyone have time to trim lamps, discuss back and forth sharing the oil and then making the decision to go and buy to those who sell?  This scenario can't possibly apply to the Rapture;  the twinkling of an eye is a nano second, or less, they say.

I realize there are many truths why Math 25 does not refer to the Rapture but I believe the Lord gave me this simplistic view and it blessed me.  :o) Thank you John for 5 Doves!!
