The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit renews and regenerates and brings things to remembrance ..John 14:26.
May the oil of the Holy Spirit renew Matthew from the effects of the surgery, and may Matthew  be healed from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. James 5: 14, 15.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that nothing is to hard for the Lord Genesis 18: 14.
