I am imagining the reaction of the American people particularly the western, mid-western and southern states when this comes about and people realize exactly what is going on.  The image I have is not a pretty one.  "Kingdom (state) against "kingdom" (another state)?  The stage is being set for a world government.
 
I believe the Pope's proclamation that those of us who are not Catholic are not Christian is another stage being set for the world religion.
