Last night during our meeting Pastor read Chapter 33 of Ezekiel.  The scripture inspired me to write this note to encourage all of G-d's children to live in repentance. 

We need to be in a state of repentance continually knowing that we are flawed(sinful) people and as a nation we need to return to Jesus (IIChron. 7: 14-- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.)

Last week after meeting the men of our congregation met together and prayed and repented together as Daniel did in Daniel 9:4-19.  They repented for the sins of America as well as their (and our) sins as individuals and the Church.  The vote-down of the evil so-called Immigration Bill (hiding a Real ID connection to employers and Social Security) was, I believe, a direct result of the move of G-d in response to correct behavior of His people.
