Jill, I'm glad you enjoyed the article and thanks for your response. I would like to think I work for God's glory and not mine, but it is sweet and gives you a little boost when someone speaks kindly of your efforts. All the same, I am sure it is the Holy Spirit who deserves all credit. Any mistakes, they are mine.Your question: When you add 50 years to 48 (1948), you get 59-60, not 69-70 as stated?
I believe I wrote this correctly, though after sending it in, I did find an error in the letter. You add the 50 to the June 1967 war, which gives you 2017-2018 for Jesus return. You might say that definately adds to 2017 and that is true, but Jesus returns in the fall and the 10 year count begins in the late spring. They were born as a nation in May 1948 and depending on how you want to look at the calendar (as to year start/end points), they are 69-70 years old.
I see this 10 year period as actually 10.5 (really about a 10.4). Jesus says in Mat 24:34, "this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled" (His return). Hence the significance of the 70 (threescore and ten) of the years of man and the cardinal midpoint of the 40, all in accordance with the pattern of the candlestick of seven (menorah).
Let me summarize: Israel born as a nation in May 48. 19 years later was the June 67 war (our---Jesus'---Mat 24:32 marker for the beginning of the 40 year generational testing period). 40 years from this point will hopefully be the rapture (separation) date of the bride (worthy/wise)---late spring 2007. There is another 10 year period (10.5) until Jesus returns at the Jubilee (total 50 years).
Right after the bride is in her heavenly ark, the seals will begin to be broken and the horses ride---white, red, black and then the pale (4th seal) which brings in the antichrist. This pale horse starts the 7 year tribulation period. The beginning of the tribulation is the halfway point (3.5 yrs) of the story of the trib saints (white horse). By the midpoint of the trib, the seven years of the trib saints is finished. They are all dead and are resurrected with the two witnesses on Pentecost. After this there are no more saints on this earth (save the 144K sealed) and no more Holy Spirit. Both loaves of leavened bread are in the barn. The great tribulation begins and ultimately God's wrath.
* Now it may be (and probably is) that the Holy Spirit is also with the 144K. I cannot imagine God would leave them. But the point of the letter is the major work of the Holy Spirit (the wheat harvest NT church) will be complete.
Let me take this opportunity to point out my error in the original letter. It is a little past the halfway point and I was speaking of the 4th day (week) of the Feast of Weeks, when God opens the door for the bride portion of His spring wheat harvest. [The wheat harvest is the New Testament church (those worthy to serve in the 1000 year kingdom). The barley harvest was the old testament saints who were resurrected/ascended with Jesus]. I said that these two loaves of the wheat harvest were the unleavened bread (typo error) of Lev 23. The two loaves of the wheat harvest are the leavened bread of Lev 23 which are waved at Pentecost and are called first fruit unto the Lord.
Both First and Second Passover are identical celebrations. Both celebrate a 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread. The analogy is: the unleavened bread (w/o sin, Jesus) is contained in the leavened bread of all the wheat harvest, both loaves, as well as it was contained in the bread of the barley harvest. This unleavened bread within is what makes the leavened bread holy.
That leaves us with 3 major spring feasts as marker points and they fall at the beginning, midpoint and end days of the figurative week of the Feast of Weeks. In the Lev 23 passage, they are waved at Pentecost, because that is when the work of the Holy Spirit (the wheat harvest) is completed. He is free to depart this earth with His last loaf. The Father will declare His work finished and that it is good, just like Gen 2:1-3 ends creation week.
Summary: Creation week opens up God's Word to man. Immediately, we see that light and division (separation) are mentioned together in the first and fourth days. At the critical midpoint, we see that our physical sun, moon and stars are for signs, even signs in the heavens and for calendars (markers). They are to divide and rule.
Besides the sun, moon and stars, St John clearly states that the Son Jesus is the Light, the Light and Life of man, and He is the Word. In the Holy Tabernacle there was a golden candlestick of 7 (the menorah), which provided light. It had a pattern in which the middle (divider) was prominent and a feeder to provide oil to the rest. In Rev 20:1, there are seven golden candlesticks before the throne which are the seven churches.
The candles on the golden candlesticks provide our light to reveal (give understanding) to God's Word. The pattern of the candlestick is a key to unlock the patterns in scripture. When overlaid with the pattern in the creation week, some marvelous truths (secrets) can be seen.
