"Valley of Dry Bones = the 144,000"

The 2 witnesses of Rev 11:3 are Moses & Elijah - the Law and the Prophets. They appeared with Jesus Christ in Transfiguration. They both are described as the ones who "stand before" the Lord (verse 4) and they are the only prophets (beside Christ) who went 40 days and nights without food at Horeb. {Enoch pictures the raptured Church and hence is the only OT saint to never die).

Moses is the "man child" of Revelation chapter 12, who is "caught up unto God" in Revelation chapter 11:12.

Rev 11:12 is the tribulation rapture - and will include the rapture of the 144,000, and the "wise virgins" (Matthew 24 and Matthew 25 apply to tribulation saints NOT the Church - Jesus is not a polygamist!). So who are the 144,000?

The 144,000 appear to be Jews from the past, and probably include Jeremiah, Daniel, and many others, raised up literally, as stated in Ezekiel chapter 37 (valley of dry bones). "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."

The rule is to take the Bible as literal unless it is impossible to do so - hence Ezekiel 33 is the literal resurection of slain Jews. Makes sense that they appear with Moses and Elijah to the Jews during the tribulation.

Jeremiah's reappearance is suggested in Mat 16:14 "And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets." and in the fact that God told him he would prophesy before all the nations, yet he did not yet.

Daniel's return is suggested in Dan 12:13 "But go thou thy way till the end [be]: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."
