Kristy -Thank you so much for posting Tommy's e-mail. http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2006/kristyb711.htm I can't tell you how much it has encouraged me. We have been in full time ministry evangelizing unchurched children for over 15 years and to be honest, I'm at a really low point when it comes to enthusiasm right now. It's time to get excited about starting our clubs in the schools this coming fall, and I'm struggling. Donations have been down and the work is getting harder and harder. It seems we face one discouragement after another. I know how much Satan hates what we do so I know the battle we are in. I guess you could call me battle weary (and very very homesick). I just want to go home!
But your little Tommy has rekindled a spark in me to keep on persevering. The open honestly with which he shared his heart is so precious. So genuine - so real! Living proof that children can and do get saved and not only saved, but filled with a desire to walk with Jesus and see others won to Him as well. Awesome!
