Wow, what an experience it was.

I am asking all of you to pray the political leaders in our country take to
heart the message of support for Israel, and not to allow Iran to get nuclear
weapons.

The banquet was great, and broadcast live on Israeli and Middle Eastern TV via
Daystar.

More than 3400 showed up from all over the country, at least 48 states were
represented, and many different churches.
 
Letters were read from President Bush & Ehud Olmert.

Speakers included Ambassador Ayalon, General Ya'alon (former commander of the
IDF),  many Christian leaders, Rabbi's,  congressmen, Sprang of Sprang
Publications, Daniel Brog (whose book Standing with Israel is a must read on
Christian Zionism, from a positive, Jewish perspective), Senator Brownback,
Rick Santorum, Tom Delay, Randy Travis, Pat Boone, Gary Bauer,Westhover from
Liberty University,  etc etc etc.

We then all went to see our senators and representatives on wednesday.

My group saw a senator from our state......who is not friendly to our cause.
He was gracious,  and rather surprised,  to see a group of several hundred
average Joe's from HIS OWN STATE... voters ....in his office.

He had to open the conference room doors, everyone who could squeezed in and
the rest of us stayed in the hall. He came out, greeted the group, and even
allowed all of us individual photo opportunities.  One of his staffers said
large groups are not unusual, but not like us. We were not paid to lobby, and
were all voters from his area. The staffer said in a group of 200 you might
have 10 from one area, and the rest from other places.

I think our point was made!

There was power in the unity we showed.

Now we need prayer, for Isreal, America, and that efforts like that started by
CUFI, to continue to grow and increase support for Israel!!!
 

We were also invited to the Israel rally on Freedom Square yesterday (wed)
where many stood in support of the nation of Israel. Many political figures,
the ambassador, Governor of Maryland, etc,  were there.
 

In addition to prayers, I suggest each of you go to cufi.org and sign up for
the email alerts, and join in contacting your state leaders with the message
of support for Israel.
