Dear friends:My message yesterday about revival in Fiji brought some wonderful and fascinating response.
1. An intercessor living in the UK, Helen, forwarded the message to a member of her intercessory network in Queensland, Australia, Kris, who has been praying and working for revival there, Fiji, and elsewhere. To this end, he is sending the message today to every one of the Queensland parliamentarians with an explanatory note emphasizing that 2 Chronicles 7:14 is the answer to their problems. He says, “Please pray that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes, their ears and the understanding of their hearts, to hear what the Lord is saying to each one of them, and all who get to read the email.”
Let us agree with Kris in this prayer.
2. In addition, I received the below reply from a lady in New Zealand. May God bless her loving efforts on behalf of the people in Fiji. Let us also hold her up in prayer.
__________________________Hi Jim,
I know this is true.
Last year I went to Fiji to visit the outer islands, and nearly all of them were/are born-again Christians. I prayed for some of them who had boils and God popped the boils overnight and were healed. They prayed with me and invited me to their prayer/Bible study night. This is on the island of Tavewa in the Yasawa chain. It was awesome!! The chief was praying in Fijian and by the Holy Spirit I knew what he was praying for!! Praise God! La Veti Nakalou!!! (praise God in Fijian) or Prabu Ki Jai (in Hindi).
After that I went to an Indo-Fijian church near Suva where God did powerful things like healing the blind and delivering people from demons(usually the Hindu demons). After they get saved they get deliverance. See my photos of this trip: www.mariannahaworth.whereareyou.net
This year my husband and I are going again. Since I am a nurse I am taking a medical kit with me for people that need medical aid, and also I hope to be working with a Christian doctor there and hold free clinics for the people in the neighbourhood, who usually can't afford to go and see a doctor. God also works through doctors and nurses. God is sovereign!
I will attend all their church services, prayer meetings, music practise and house visits with the pastor and wife. The worship of the local believers there is awesome. We are going in October for a month so pray God will open up doors of opportunity to show God's love and healing and the Gospel.
God bless, Marianna from NZ.
_________________________Regarding all three of those people just described, Helen, Kris, and Marianna, the Lord just quickened a verse to me: “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10).
