This topic comes up from time to time, and I have sent in posts before saying pretty much the same thing. Why should we as Christians accept any kinds of prophecies from unbelievers, of which Nostradamus certainly was. He followed the occult, read tea leaves and consulted with spirits that were NOT of the Lord. These posts even being published lend credence to them, and can possibly lead immature believers astray. We are not to follow after false prophets, and as several recent posts have given the qualifications for a true prophet of God, I will not go into them again.

The recent post by Jim on Nostradamus began with these words "I put no faith in Nostradamus". It was reported more as an item of interest in view of the nearness of the rapture.
