There are now three things I have found that seem to point to some significance concerning the 9th of Av--Thursday, August 3, 2006.

• The war broke out noticeably when Israel bombed Lebanon on the 17th of Tammuz (July 13, 2006). The 17th of Tammuz is a significant day and one that points three weeks later to the 9th of Av. It is the day Moses broke the 10 Commandments and the day the Babylonians and also the Romans broke through the walls of Jerusalem to end the sacrifices.
• The first kidnapping and killings occurred on June 25th at Gaza. If we count this day and go to the 9th of Av, we will have 40 days. When the 12 spies during the Exodus gave their report on the ninth of Av it was day 40 of their spy mission. God then sentenced the nation of Israel to 40 years in the wilderness for each day they were spying. Numbers 14:34
• On the 9th of Av 1994, comet Shoemaker-Levy slammed into Jupiter. Actually, 21 pieces slammed into Jupiter, which some have noted was similar to the three weeks (21 days) of mourning from the 17th of Tammuz. Also on this day in 1994 Hezbollah bombed a Jewish building in Buenos Aires killing hundreds. These events occurred 12 years ago to the Jewish day this Thursday. And remember, this day in history began with the report of the 12.

The coincidences are remarkable and we will soon find out what may happen. This may be the final wake up call.
