"The Coming War"
On
Thursday, the 17th of Tammuz, I made this post that this day of mourning
was significant and that the war may be the beginning of Ezekiel 38-39.

I also made
the post concerning the 17th of Tammuz in 2007-- five days before. http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2006/danielm78.htm
Now after
a couple of days it is definitely more of a war when I made the post concerning
Ezekiel 38-39. The best word I have seen from someone who has read "Signs
of the End" is surreal. I believe this is because we are now seeing the
details coming in line with the framework of the timelines and that we
can see where this is heading.
Some observations
(for what it's worth):
I still believe
the major invasion into Israel will be after the Rapture. I do not believe
the USA and its allies will fail Israel until after that time. The Rapture
will probably create the opportunity for Russia, Iran, etc. to move out
under the umbrella of confusion/chaos.
With 70 days
left until Rosh Hashanah, I also think the USA will not react quickly enough
to remove Iran from power before that date. After the Rapture, I do not
see the US and her allies having the will (let alone now). The point is
that Iran will remain a power until God judges them directly at the end
of Ezekiel's War along with everyone else. That is of course if the scenario
is correct, that being that this fall/winter is the time of Ezekiel 38-39
at full escalation. Hopefully for the time being it is only enough to catch
peoples' attention before the Departure/Rapture of believers. So in other
words, I can see the allies of Israel trying diplomacy or stalling techniques
and then running out of time before the salt is gone.
One idea in
the book is that I believe many who are left after the Rapture will view
this war incorrectly as Armageddon and then finding the peace promises
of Antichrist. But what is developing is not Armageddon. The current powers
must be removed from their positions to make way for the Ten Kingdoms and
then comes the Antichrist.
That this
war was manifested on the 17th of Tammuz is serious. The last war that
hit a significant day was the Yom Kippur War of 1973--a very significant
date in itself. It also shows us that God's timetable is on track with
the current Jewish Calendar. Then what about the 9th of Av? We will have
to wait and anticipate.
In my humble
opinion I believe this war will go on and turn into the scene found in
Ezekiel 38-39. With the significance of timelines pointing to Rosh Hashanah
2006 and the 17th of Heshvan 2006, it would seem that the dots are easily
connected. To ignore all of this would be unbelievable.
