   I have always marveled at how God times things. In 1948 the Dead Sea
Scrolls were found. It was the same year that Israel became a nation.
Interestingly it was the Book of Isaiah that was found, which not only
confirmed the authenticity of this portion of the Bible, but also confirmed
the prophecies concerning Israel' re-gathering. The fact that this
confirmation came in the same year that Israel became a nation is worthy of
note.
   Now we have another confirmation. And this one is thrilling. For the past
several years I have been looking at Psalm 83 and realizing that the
confederacy of Arab nations and their threat to wipe Israel off the face of
the earth is what that Psalm is all about -- and now it is happening.  What
was written three thousand years ago is now current headlines.
   Then this past week the "miracle" find in Ireland is absolutely
thrilling. They found an ancient book of Psalms that had been buried in a
bog for 1200 years. Amazingly the book was open to Psalm 83. God has strange
ways of sending us a message. And the message is that those Arab nations who
wield the threat of destruction of Israel will not succeed. This means that
Israel will be victorious in this battle.
   Many have suggested that this battle is the start of the Ezekiel 38 war.
This could well be. A landmark victory by Israel would certainly not be
welcome by those Gentile nations who support the Arab confederacy. And any
victory by Israel would soon be retaliated.
   The fact that this "miracle" find in Ireland comes in the latter half of
2006 suggests that it is precisely on God's timeline. If we take the 66
years between the year of Israel's occupation of the old city of Jerusalem
(1966-1967 Tishri to Tishri) and the end of the 2000 years since the time
when Jesus said to that nation "Your house is left unto you desolate," the
Golden Proportion of that would divide those 66 years at 2006-2007 Tishri to
Tishri. Since the major events in the re-birth of Israel have all conformed
to the Golden Proportion, it is thrilling to find the confirmation that
Psalm 83 plays a vital role -- and that the 1200-year old book was found
open to Psalm 83.
