WORSHIPPING GOD IN HEAVEN PART 2

It is such a delight to read about the life of Abram/Abraham to pick up practical and prophetic clues. He is truly a type of the believer's walk of faith in this Age of Grace. To share insights with you is a privilege that I don't take lightly because precious truths of God are what we need as we travel through life awaiting the soon to be catching away of the Church. In some of my previous articles I shared practical and prophetic truths from Genesis 12 but I really got into what the whole story meant prophetically in my last article Worshipping God in Heaven.

In short Abram gets converted in Genesis chapter 11 (Confusion). The Towel of Babel was also in Genesis chapter 11. Through the Great Commission or the furtherance of the Gospel people around the World are coming to know Jesus Christ as their very own personal Savior. At the same time the tower of Babel is being built (New World Order). Chapter 12 (God's Governmental Perfection) speaks of God being in perfect control of Abram's growth or his sanctification process in God,his refinement;trials, his temporary seizure (the devil) and finally his redemption. It is pretty obvious to me that this corresponds to the Church Age and the Rapture of the Church. In Genesis chapter 13 there is a picture of a reunion after his redemption (Genesis 13:1), of his inheritance( Genesis 13:2) and of him worshipping God(Genesis 13:3-4). This is exactly what is going to happen after the Rapture of the Church.A reunion with our fellow brothers and sisters in heaven, our inheritance and we will be worshipping God.

The only thing I did not mention in "Worshipping God in Heaven" is in Genesis 13:3-4. I did not see it until now. Abram is pictured at Beth-el (a type of worship) without an altar to give God a sacrifice. It is absent when the reader arrives at Genesis chapter 13:3-4. What does this mean? God could not allow the Altar here because it is a type of our worship experience in Heaven. After we get raptured we will be drawn by God's love to Worship Him without an Altar or a sacrifice. Approximately 2000 years ago Jesus Christ the Son of God became our all atoning sacrifice for our sins. When we accepted Him into our heart our sins were forgiven. This is why at this point Abram is now at the place of Beth-el worshipping God without an Altar. It is a prophetic picture of us (the Church;Body of Christ) worshipping God after our redemption (Rapture) without any hindrance of sin. See what awaits us after our Blessed Hope!!

Genesis chapter 13 (Apostasy) has a main theme of Apostasy through the division (2) of Abram and Lot's servants. It is so important to understand that Abram's redemption took place in Genesis 12:20. Twelve (God's Governmental Perfection). Twenty(Redemption). This is a picture of the Rapture taking place before chapter 13 (Apostasy) the Day of the Lord as mentioned in 11 Thes.2:3. This verse talks about Apostasy and the Day of the Lord.Apostasy, the Day of the Lord and (13)are all connected together. In this picture 13 is prophetically symbolic of the future 7 year Tribulation Period which we believe is right at hand. I find it amazing that Genesis chapter 13 (Apostasy) has as it's main theme division (2). There is a verse in the New Testament talking about our Blessed Hope (Rapture)and it is in Titus 2:13. Emphasis (2),and (13) matching Genesis chapter 13 with it's main theme of division (2). Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.Titus 2:13. God not only put His numeric signature in the book of Genesis(Old Testament) but He also highlighted this in the book of Titus(New Testament). The timing of the Rapture according to the model of Abram and these numbers can only picture one thing. The Rapture must take place before the Day of the Lord because the model of Abram and the numbers are actually telling a story of the Age of Grace,Rapture, and future 7 year Tribulation Period as we see Abram worshipping God in heaven without an Altar and a Sacrifice because "there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1. Incredible!! Genesis 13:4 has Abram at Beth-el just simply calling upon "the name of the Lord." Prophetically God has certainly blessed us with an amazing prophetic picture in the Word of God. Hope you have been blessed with this study as much as I have. The Day of the Lord is close (13) but we as Christians have a Blessed Hope!!  If you don't know the Lord wouldn't you like to join us? There is plenty of room in Heaven.Accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today means tomorrow you will be a part of the Rapture.Tomorrow is very close. The "Blessed Hope" is just about to take place.

See you Soon
