Let's consider what God has said.
Revelation 19: 11-15 - Since God is omnipotent, he has no need for us to assist Him in combating evil.  He will eventually destroy it at His second coming, at the end of the Tribulation Period.

II Thess. 2: 7 - 8:  The antichrist will not be revealed until the saints are removed from the earth and taken to heaven at the Rapture.  The saints, filled with the Holy Spirit, represent the greatest hindrance to the rise of the antichrist, but when they are gone, he will  have full sway.

John 14: 1-4 - The saints are taken to heaven at the Rapture, and do not hover above the earth during the judgments of the Tribulation Period.  They return with Christ at the end of the Tribulation Period for the honeymoon with the Bridegroom during the millennium.

Revelation 7: 1-8 - Evangelization will take place during the Tribulation Period through the 144,000 converted Jews who are sealed by God for protection, and also by angels.  As you have stated, millions will come to the Lord during the Tribulation Period, but they will be martyred for the most part.  However, they will be resurrected at the close of the Tribulation Period.

So, we can relax and let the Lord take care of us as well as evil, during the Tribulation Period.  He can do the job much better than we can.  As the bride of Christ, we can look forward to seven years of bliss with the Bridegroom and the saints in heaven, and 1000 years thereafter on earth, and then for an eternity.  May the Lord by praised!!
