New items will be added to my Daily Update pages for Saturday morning, located here:http://www.his-forever.com/daily_update_07_16_05.htm
I wanted to make sure this made it to John in time to be posted for today. I have many interesting items to share, but probably won't be able to list them here before posting. Be sure to check the link later this morning.

Saturday's article, "God's Patience Growing Thin?", by Cory Ferguson, will also be linked to the Daily Update page. EXCELLENT article!!!
EXCERPT:
The angel of the LORD also said to her: You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers. (Genesis 16:11-12)In the fifteenth chapter of Genesis, the chapter prior to the one containing the above scripture, the Lord promised Abraham a son whose descendants would be numbered as many as there were stars in the sky. Abraham, who was still called by the name of Abram at this time, was married to his wife Sarah (or Sarai). The problem with the prophecy about a multitude of descendants coming from Abraham was that his wife was barren.
The Lord being who He is doesn't give empty promises, but unfortunately, like so many of us (including myself) have a tendency to do, Abraham and Sarah couldn't see beyond this limitation and trust in God to come through on His promise. So, in Sarah's frustration, she offered up her Egyptian maid, Hagar, to Abraham as a wife so the promised son could be conceived and born. I'm not sure if they understood it at the time or not, but this was in direct disobedience to God. The appropriate action would have been to trust in God, pray and wait.
