Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Perhaps sometimes , we think God is going to do what He has already provided for...and we take a walk on lazy street. It is up to us to put on the new man according to scripture.  Effort is required.  We stand on the Word and speak the Word and act on the Word as though it is true!
