300 pullout protestors arrested; government considers earlier expulsion

Police on Wednesday night arrested several hundred anti-pullout protestors for entering the "closed military zone" of the Gaza Strip to reach Gush Katif. One soldier was lightly injured by protestors at the Kissufim crossing. According to settler leaders, who vowed to continue infiltrating Gush Katif "little by little", some 1,000 nevertheless succeeded to get in. The government considers moving forward the mid-August expulsion date.
