High Court of Justice President Aharon Barak has instructed the state to make buses available for the return of anti-pullout protestors from Kfar Maimon.

In an unusual and controversial step Monday, police were ordered to stop buses in Israel and the territories, confiscate drivers' licenses, and remove protest-bound passengers in order to keep disengagement opponents from reaching the protest site.

Barak and justice Dorit Beinish held an urgent hearing on a petition filed on Monday by transport companies against the police decision to prevent buses transporting pullout opponents to a rally in Netivot from leaving their departure points. The petitioners asked the High Court to instruct the state to reverse the decision and cease discriminating against them.
