From the initial Nasa site covering the Comet TEMPLE blast:
Apr. 3, 1867......found by Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel of Marseille, France saw the comet amid the Leonid Meteor Shower (which are descendents of the Tempel Comet).  It's location in the sky was .71 AU from Earth, and 1.64 AU from the Sun.

Apr. 3, 1867 was a leap year and it was on Adar Bet, 27, 5627.....a 100 year and aprx. 1 month before May 1967...when Israel gained the Tempel Mount in Israel!!!

   page 154...says this:
   " The parent Comet of the Leonid meteor shower is trailed by dense (as such things go) swarms of meteoroids that have produced the most intense meteor storms in HISTORY. "

   "This comet may have been routed into approximately its present orbit by the PLANET URANUS IN A.D. 126, over 1600 years before Uranus was discovered (the first record of a Leonid shower seems to be the one in A.D. 137). "
My remarks:
    This was about the time of the distruction of the Temple, and Jerusalem...and the prophecy of Zach. where Israel becomes a desolate land and people.

  page 154 of my book:
"..in the past two centuries, the really awesome Leonid storms have come after the comet's perihelion.  For instance, in 1965 Tempel-Tuttle was at perihelion on April 30th and in November of the following year the stupendous sight of Leonids as thick as 150,000 per  hour (with brief spates even more intense) was visible from the southwestern United States and a few other places."
My remarks:
    This is durring the time of the establishing of the New Nation with her people...and all the miracles of Hashem.  Notice that the Leonids come from the constellation of LEO THE LION...and the spelling of  Perihelion..meaning nearest the Sun (YHVH sky sign) contains the little word lion on the end).

My book; pg 155 quote:
   "The comet itself was discovered by Tempel and Tuttle at the end of 1865.  Its connection with the Leonid shower (which was magnificent in November 1866) was first proposed at the end of 1866, when Oppolzer calculated the comet's orbital period and many astronomers pointed out the similarity of the orbit to that of the Leonid stream.  The period then averaged close to 33.52 years , and in 1965 it was 32.92.  But for many centuries, it has averaged close to 331/3 years, making he comet and its meteoroid swarm (which has sometimes hit and sometimes missed) a Thrice-a-century  visitator. "
My comments:
   Notice the likeness to the life years of Ya'Shua...and the thrice a century #'s.  3 times a century..means that every 7 years, this comet makes 21 visitations.  21 being the # of days of Daniel's prayer at Passover time while he was in diasporah, not keeping the Pesach celebration!!!!!!!   Later in the article..it says that Temple-Tuttle is one of only 2 comets (the other is Halley's comet) that had been identified before the telescope, so with the naked eye..thus they could identify the great comets of 1366, 1699, 1866, & 1965, and could predict the 1998 and 1999 great meteor shower of the Leonids.
    I may find more information that will prove interesting...if so, I will pass it along.
    This comet makes its closest to the Sun approach one year, and the next year makes it's fartherest from the Sun orbit.  And I think the trip between the two is 3 1/2 years...making a pathway of about 6 years.  The period of time before a Shabbatical year cycle.   No wonder YHVH can keep track of the 7 years, and the Jubilee years (missed).  His sky signs even contain a Calendar!!!
