An excellent essay on raising children.  You are so right.  We have experienced the same things!  I will add though the other experience we have had is that once a child is raised in that kind of environment they will experience being very "different" in the social milieu of today.  My children have been "misfits" in the self-centered narcissitic social structure of most social groups of today--especially girl groups--it is awful!!!!   That is why we try to stay clear of most social groups besides those that are definitely Christian!  And another reason we look so forward to leaving in the Rapture!
