Dear friends:

There is bad news and there is good news....

BAD NEWS.  Terrorists suddenly struck London on Thursday in a barbarous attack with several explosions, killing what may be over 50 and injuring over 700.

GOOD NEWS.  This may help wake up Europeans who have generally been apathetic about world terrorism, and Americans who have gone back to sleep, many of whom on the left choosing to be more concerned about the temperature of water provided for the terrorist murderers in captivity at Gitmo than the threat of terrorism.

BAD NEWS.  In spite of this, most of the world including Americans will probably continue to worship at the altar of political correctness and multi-culturalism and not recognize that we are in a spiritual warfare against an evil religious system.  Many will continue to foolishly call Islam a religion of "peace," while continuing to ban references to the Prince of Peace in the public square.  The fact is that Islam has always been a religion of conquest, violence and death.  This political correctness, preached by the left, especially the liberal media, may in fact be the death knell of the West.

GOOD NEWS.  The latest terrorist attack could help both Americans and Europeans better understand what Israel has been experiencing for years from the Palestinian terrorists and outside supporters.

BAD NEWS.  It won't.  Israeli Barry Chamish wrote: "While watching the horrendous scenes in London it reminded me of the hundreds of similar scenes I’ve witnessed in Jerusalem and other cities here in Israel.  Spain and Britain has now discovered that when you accept these Islamic devils into your society and offer them the same protections others have you discover that their religion is rooted in the pits of hell.  They have declared Jihad on non-Moslem countries and will not stop until they are totally defeated.  The question is does the civilized western world have the guts to do what it will take to stop them?  I hope you will forgive me this but I am finding it irritating to watch CNN, BBC, Sky News, and Fox, they keep comparing this London attack to 9/11 and the Spanish train attack but never mention that this same terrible scenario has played out hundreds of times in Jerusalem.  Is it that it’s okay for the terrorists to attack Israel but not the rest of the world?"

GOOD NEWS:God promises to watch over Israel and defeat her enemies, which is certain. Woe to those who attack her and try to get her to give up her God-given covenant land.

BAD NEWS.  Many more will die because of man's foolishness and rejection of the truth

GOOD NEWS.  God is in control and even the evil committed by evil people is falling into His prophetic plan, which will be on time.  Jesus is coming!  The One who said, "I am the truth" is coming.  He spoke of... “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:27-28, NKJV).
