Dear friends:1. REMINDER. On July 11, 2005 I advised of two shocking reports that I received almost simultaneously on the same day: (1) FOX NEWS reported, "Counterterrorism expert Juval Aviv spoke with FOX Fan Central and said: 'I predict, based primarily on information that is floating in Europe and the Middle East, that an event is imminent and around the corner here in the United States. It could happen as soon as tomorrow, or it could happen in the next few months. Ninety days at the most'"; and (2) WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah reported that Al Qaeda already had nukes in the U.S. and "According to captured al-Qaida leaders and documents, the plan is called the 'American Hiroshima' and involves the multiple detonation of nuclear weapons already smuggled into the U.S. over the Mexican border," quoting Paul L. 2. TODAY. I discovered another shocking report on The Israel Report Web site with the following headline and first paragraph below:
Headline: NUCLEAR ATTACK(S) ON AMERICA WITHIN 30 TO 60 DAYS SAYS HOMELAND SECURITY INSIDER
Text: Unfortunately I am not allowed to cite this source, but my closest friends here in Israel have a relative working inside Homeland Security, and he has told them today that intelligence within the U.S. says that a nuclear attack, or more likely many of them at the same time across America, is imminent. (For full report, go to http://theisraelreport.injesus.com.)Note that the headline reads "30 to 60 days," but this is not substantiated in the text of the message, which instead uses the word "imminent." But either is disturbing.
Please know that I am not predicting, just reporting. The above reports may or may not be true, but the sources seem reasonably credible, as far as I know, and the scenario is not out of the question, knowing what we already know. Such a scenario is compatible with (1) the actual precarious world situation right now, and (2) biblical prophecy and what many are seeing in the Scriptures for the very near term. True or not, there has never been a greater time in history when it is as imperative for God's people to be ready. There has never been such a time is this, and never will be. The world will never be ready, but we can be; we can pray up, stand up, speak up, look up, and by God's grace be "counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36, NKJV).
Unless such an attack and timing is part of God's intractable prophetic plan and the hour is too late, prayer may be able to avert it.
Ask the Holy Spirit how to pray in this situation and to intercede for us and your loved ones. "The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Romans 8:26-27). We need these unutterable "groanings" as never before!
And now dear friends, "Unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude 24-25, KJV).
