"Prayer request for Israelian girl"

Dear Doves,

I am a member of the biggest choir in Holland, the "Holland Choir" that has 800 singers.
My choir sings only for Israel, to help and encourage the people there and to let them know that they have still (christian) friends in the world.
We sing in Holland to raise money and go to Israel to raise the hearts of the people there.
One of our 'fans' is a young woman, not married, with an 8 year old son.
I will not give you her name, because I do not know if she wants that, but I'll tell you her story.
She has been wounded in two(!) suicide-attacks now and the last attack was só severe, that she was no longer able to take care for her little boy.
Her nerves were totally in tatters and she had a lot of psysical injuries too.
The Israelian authorities decided to send the boy to foster-parents, where he is living now.
These foster-parents do not like the boy to see his real mother too much, so now she can only visit him once in a month.
"Why can't I go home with you?", the boy cries whenever she goes to see him, "I want to be with you!  Don't you love me?"
Well - as you can imagine: this really breaks her heart.
But she has to use heavy antidepressiva and really is not able to have him with her.
Life is very empty for her and in this condition she heard a delegation of my choir, singing songs of praise and psalms about G.d's promises to Israel.
This really moved her, although she is not a believer.
Last April my choir had its annual concert in Rotterdam, the Netherlands,  where we listened to some Israelian speakers, who flew especially to Holland to listen to this choir-for-Israel and to tell us about what is going on there.
A mr. Benjamin Philip, who founded an organisation that feeds the hungry people in Israel ( Hineni, Jerusalem)  and which  assists the victims, disabled during suicide-attacks,
told us that one woman, the girl I am telling you about, is all the time asking: "When does that choir from Holland come again? They give me só much hope..."

Well, doves, this story moved me.
I could not stop thinking about this woman.
I tried to get my choir to raise money for her, as she needs a thorough therapy during some 6 months, costing about 25000 dollars.
Alas - the board of the choir rejected my idea and I did not get the opportunity to speak in front of the microphone to ask them for help.
If - so I calculated - every choirmember could give 30 dollars, this girl could get well again and have her son back at home...
But the answer stayed 'no'.

What could I do?
I pray for her each and every day, because the Lord has laid her on my heart.

Now, just two hours ago, ( 13 Juli 2005)  I got an e-mail from Mr. Benjamin Philip, of that help-organization in Jerusalem.
You remember the suicide-attack of last week in Netanya?
3  persons killed, some 30 wounded?
Well - 'my'  Israelian girl  was in that attack too and wounded for the 3rd time!
Her life , however, is not in danger, as I was told.
Three suicide-attacks and still alive..
I know that my prayers were not in vain and that the Lord has heard me.
There must have been angels around.
I am so grateful!

Now I do not tell you this with the purpose of asking you for money.
I would not know how to send it to Israel and she knows nothing about me and my 'burden' for her.
I only communicate about her with above-mentioned mr. Benjamin Philips, who does for her what he can.
He went immediately from Jerusalem to the hospital in Netanya to visit her, for instance.

I 'only' ask you: please pray for her.
Ask the Almighty to heal her in body and spirit, to make her believe in Him and Yesjoe'a and to bring her and her little boy together again.

Thank you very much and may the Lord bless you.
